Sampling Port Requirements for Isokinetic Sampling in Stack Emission Test

Sampling Port Requirements for Isokinetic Sampling

The details of sampling port requirements for stack/ duct / chimney "Isokinetic Sampling" as per the US EPA Method 01-05 are as follows:
Required each stack two (02) sampling ports at 90˚ apart, if the stack diameter is less than < 3.1 meters including port length, or four (04) sampling ports required, if the stack diameter is > 3.1 meters included the port length. Each port as consist a 4 Inches inside diameter (ID) opening fitted with a bolted blind flange installed as a cover. Locate all sampling ports at least eight (08) stack/ duck / chimney downstream and two (02) diameters downstream from any flow disturbance such as bend, expansion, contractions, or visible flame.
